The National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, NORML, is a non-profit organization located in Washington D.C. It was founded in 1970 to provide a voice for the people who opposed marijuana prohibition and marijuana-related arrests. More than 50 years later, NORML continues to lead the fight to reform state and federal marijuana laws by voter initiatives and elected  lawmakers.

As stated on NORML’s website, “NORML’s mission is to move public opinion sufficiently to legalize the responsible use of marijuana by adults, and to serve as an advocate for consumers to assure they have access to high quality marijuana that is safe, convenient and affordable.”
